Welcome
Welcome to Lauderdale, home of the Lions!
At Lauderdale School our dedicated staff strive to ensure high levels of learning for all our students in a safe and supportive environment. Lauderdale educators are committed to outstanding student learning opportunities, professional collaboration and student results.
We envision a school that is responsive to the needs of our school community and challenges each child to develop core competencies and skills, both academically and non-academically, to become lifelong learners and leaders.
At Lauderdale School we provide inclusive kindergarten to grade 6 elementary programming as well as Interactions, Opportunity and Strategies special education programming. You can find more information on the Programs tab of our website.
Lauderdale School values its volunteers and its relationships with community agencies. Student growth is enhanced through these partnerships. Parents and community members alike are encouraged to visit our school to see the wonderful learning that takes place at Lauderdale School.
For the 2023 - 2024 school year, Lauderdale School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2 in the regular program. We will now only accept resident students in Grades 1 and 2 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
