Instructional Focus

At Lauderdale we believe literacy and numeracy skills are keys to student success.  As such, we are continuing with our daily reading program at Lauderdale.  All our students are expected to read daily.  

One of our major areas of focus at Lauderdale continues to be the use of technology to enhance student learning.  We have Chromebooks available for all students to use within their daily instructional work. We also have access to a class set of IPADS for student use.  All our students have access to Raz-Kids for literacy and Mathletics for numeracy skill development.  We use SchoolZone regularly and all the necessary day to day information items are posted to SchoolZone.  SchoolZone is accessible from your smartphones too!  If you do not have adequate access to technology, feel free to use our ChromeBook lab in our Library before or after school, when you drop off or pick up your children.
